Lamine Yamal tries English in interview and makes Thierry Henry promise

Everyone wants a piece of Lamine Yamal. That was the feeling after Barcelona 3-3 had drawn with Inter in the first stage of their semi-final of the Champions League, which was dominated by an incredible version of the 17-year-old star.

After the game he spoke with CBS Golazo and their panel from Kate Giles, Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards. “I just try to enjoy myself and make sure it is fun for the people who watched the game,” he explained, and admitted that when he went the bar late, he went for goal.

In the meantime, he also agreed to exchange a shirt with Henry, where the Frenchman was present in the Clasico on 11 May. Lamine Yamal also brought a lot of laughter with his few words from English, invited Richards for the Clasico and said he was aware of the career of him and Carragher.

The Teenage Starlet also promised to give Richards his shirt, if he has dyed his hair the same blonde that the man of Barcelona was sporty.

The world was full of praise for Lamine Yamal during and after the competition, including from colleague -Superster Erling Haaland. The Manchester City man posted on his social media that Lamine Yamal was 'absolutely incredible'.

During his interview with the Spanish Channel Movistar+he was asked for it and showed the comments from Haaland, for which he thanked the Norwegian attacker.

“I really didn't see anything. I am grateful, grateful that Haaland recognizes my work, but I am focused on playing, enjoying myself on the field with the ball,” Sport quoted.

Haaland and Henry were not the only ones full of praise for him. After the competition, Inter -manager Simone Inzaghi told the press that Lamine Yamal is a talent that comes once every 50 years. His opposite number was asked if all the praise might not be useful, while Flick is trying to keep his feet on the floor.

“He is special, he is special. As I often said before, he is a genius. During the game, and then when I look at the game again, you see what he is doing and it is great. But then you see all the details. And it shows that with 17 years old he is an incredible player. For me it is important that he keeps going.”

“He shows in the big competitions how good he is, in the semi -final, and this is what we want from him. What we need from him. He always does it. In the big competitions he is there. I think he also enjoys this situation, and I am really happy that this talent comes every 50 years, plays for Barcelona.”
