Data Debrief: Pulisic to the rescue

It is the second time that Milan has come from at least two goals to beat Lecce in the Serie A, with both with the Via del Mare. They came down from 3-0 earlier to win 4-3 in October 2011).

And it was Pulisic who cleared the road. Since his first season in the Serie A (2023-24), Pulisic has been involved in most goals in the tournament for Milan (34-20 goals and 14 assists). Lecce is also the team against which he scored the most goals in the competition (four).

It was only the second time that he scored a brace in the Italian flight and his first on the road.
