The promotional party of Leeds took place until Tuesday after the side of Daniel Farke received a return to the Premier League after two years on Monday.
The whites were about to return to the top flight after their match at Elland Road earlier in the day, with the competition leaders Stoke 6-0 only a few hours before Burnley's test against Sheffield United in Turf Moor.
It meant that the whites only needed United to avoid the victory in the evening match, and Chris Wilder's side did exactly that to put an end to their hope to end at the automatic promotional places of the championship.
The victory of Burnley also confirmed the promotion of the Clarets back to the Premier League at the first time of asking, where Scott Parker enjoyed an excellent campaign after the departure of Vincent Kompany to Bayern Munich at the end of the last term.
There were chaotic scenes outside Elland Road on Monday evening, when thousands of fans gathered outside the stadium to celebrate their promotion before they were accompanied by the players.
And after partying deep into the night, the parties went on the next day, with players who were spotted some time – out of a bar in Wetherby – bar three – 24 hours later.
A social media post of the bar showed a group of stars, including James, Jayden Bogle, Joe Rodon and Joe Rothwell sat at a table in the location, all apparently enjoyed soft drinks.
The post was written: 'Promotion -party vibes are still going strong … Few famous faces that are spotted in Bar three today. Leeds are back! '
Leeds, who were once an established part of the Premier League during the Formative Years of the Division, was forced to withstand two years away from the top flight on this occasion. Last season their promotion hopes were interrupted by a defeat in the play-off final against Southampton, which led to doubts about the future of Farke.
But this time they were not stumbled and protected promotion with two more games, and they can now prepare themselves again for life in the top flight.
Joel Piroe scored four goals in the first half against Stoke and set up an exhibition for the packed crowd that would never stop the rain of West Yorkshire to put a damper on their big day.
Their team wasn't. Against the break they were five goals, with four courtesy of Piroe, who scored the fastest hat trick in the history of Leeds. It ended six-zero, but in reality it could have been even more.
With 89 goals in 44 championship matches, they are the entertainers and now join Marcelo Bielsa's side of 2019-20 as just the second Leeds team to ensure promotion to the Premier League.
