On Sunday, Leganes make the trip to La Liga leaders Barcelona where they will aim for a positive result. That will be very difficult, but it is not impossible – especially if they had Dani Raba at their disposal.
Raba has been one of Leganes' standout players so far this season, although the problem for the Madrid side is that he regularly struggles with physical problems. He suffered an injury during the Copa del Rey victory over CD Estepona last week, although it does not appear to be as bad as first feared.
Leganes initially thought Raba would not play again in 2024, but according to Diario AS they are now confident they will have him in the matchday squad to face Barcelona at the Estadi Olimpic.
Raba is unlikely to start, but if Leganes can keep things tight, bringing him on in the second half could allow them to take advantage of Barcelona in their quest to avoid defeat.
