Alisha Lehmann has opened her dating history and thinks about her relationship with a female teammate before he went out with Douglas Luiz.
The Swiss star began to date with Juventus men's team player Luiz in 2021, before they separated a year later and again came to light at the beginning of 2024.
Since then, the couple have enjoyed a close relationship and both have sealed a move from England to Italian Giants Juventus during the summer window last year.
Before her relationship with Luiz, however, Lehmann's personal life had still been in the spotlight after she dates former Chelsea player Ramona Bachmann.
Now, in a new interview with Marca, Lehmann has thought about her relationship with her national teammate and gave a 'simple' answer about the situation.
She said: 'It is 2025. I think everyone can date with whom they want and are with whom they want.
'It is important to open your mind and stop seeing this as a problem and seeing it as progress instead. Be who you are and who you want to be. Love is love. It's simple '.
After she had again imposed her romance with the former midfielder of Aston Villa Luiz, the couple made a move to Juventus in the summer.
Thinking about how their movements came about, Lehmann explained: “I don't know who is convinced of who, it just happened.”
Elsewhere, Lehmann no longer has time to book her place at this summer's European championship after his omitted from the newest team in Switzerland.
Lehmann, 26, who has previously been called the 'Sekse football player of the world', missed the last round of Switzerland in February due to a dijing injury.
Switzerland Baas Pia Sundhage has now mentioned her 23-man team for next month's matches against France and Iceland, and the 58-Cap International Lehmann has not made the cut again.
Sundhage insisted that there is a way back for Lehmann, but admitted that her injury has hindered her cause, with the euros in Switzerland now only three months away.
“We want to put together the best team, maybe not with the best players,” said Sundhage. 'The doors are open to everyone. At the end of the day there is a chance for everyone. '
Sundhage explained Lehmann's absence and added: 'She was injured and has not played for Juventus for a long time. She needs time to show that she belongs to the team. '
Switzerland is placed in group A for Euro 2025, next to Norway, Finland and Iceland. Their first match will be against Norway on July 2 and it is far from guaranteed that Lehmann will be part of the team.
Lehmann came to Juventus with her friend Douglas Luiz last summer. But she only played 702 minutes in all matches and scored twice.
Luiz also struggled in his first season with the men's team, and scored a goal in none of his 22 performances.
