Wolves made a dream start to life under Vitor Pereira, who oversaw a 3-0 win over Leicester City in his first Premier League game.
The visitors got going under Pereira, who replaced Gary O'Neil earlier this week, while also recording their first ever top-flight win at the King Power Stadium.
Goals from Goncalo Guedes and Rodrigo Gomes gave Wolves the lead in the Midlands derby between two of the division's bottom four sides.
Matheus Cunha was also on target before half-time and put the match past the Foxes, who suffered their first home defeat under Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Wolves' win saw them leapfrog Ipswich Town into 18th place and move within two points of the Foxes, who remain in 17th.

Data debrief: Wolves claim first win at King Power Stadium
Wolves had never beaten Leicester in an away match in the Premier League until today, but had failed to do so in their six previous attempts.
Pereira has also overseen what is only his new side's third win by three or more goals away from home in the division.
Meanwhile, Wolves kept a clean sheet for the first time in the Premier League since a 0-0 draw with Brighton in January, a stretch of 17 such games.
