Lennox Lewis tells Tyson Fury to make ‘biggest fight in history’ with rival after second loss to Oleksandr Usyk

Lennox Lewis insists the future is bright for Tyson Fury.

'The Gyspy King' suffered a second consecutive points defeat against Oleksandr Usyk at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday evening.

Talk immediately turned to Tyson Fury possibly retiring, but the 36-year-old made it clear he would fight on as he strongly contested the second defeat of his 37-fight professional career.

Now boxing legend Lennox Lewis has tasked him with a grudge match with former two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, which he believes will be the 'biggest fight in history'.

Lennox Lewis is still excited about the all-British clash

Lewis sat in the front row and saw Fury fall short for the second time against Usyk.

The former undisputed heavyweight champion believes the right man won, but he understands why his compatriot may feel he has been screwed by the judges.

“It was a good fight,” Lewis told TNT Sports.

“I would have liked to see Tyson be a little more aggressive and go to Usyk a little more. Since he won the first fight, it's up to Tyson to go after him and make sure he wins the second fight.

“I didn't hear the score. As for the winner, yes [they got it right].”

“He'll feel like maybe he won the fight. I don't know because I felt like he could have done more work. You know, Usyk hit him in the body a few times, giving him free shots, and that scores points, so I think the judges looked at that.”

The conversation ended with the interviewer asking, “What's next for Fury?”

Lewis responded by calling on him to finally argue with Joshua. The two men have been dancing around a potential all-British heavyweight blockbuster for years. Even though there are no titles on the line, Lewis believes this is still the greatest fight of all time.

He added: “[Fury] heads to London for the biggest fight in history. Maybe Anthony Joshua.

Tyson Fury explicitly targets the AI judge

Fury and his team battled the three ringside judges and unanimously scored the fight 116-112 for his opponent, thinking it was much closer.

Boxing has a major judging problem and Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh has tried to combat this by creating an AI judge, who made his debut during Usyk vs Fury 2.

The scorecard was unofficial and was simply an experiment to see how well it worked. Fans decided it needed to be a bit more refined after it angered Fury by making him lose by a huge margin of 118-112.

“If you look at that, absolutely s***,” he told the media about the scorecard during his post-fight press conference.

“Here's one: f*** all the computers, keep the people going. More jobs for people, fewer jobs for computers.”

Fury also took aim at a certain car brand during his aggressive rant, adding: “And bloody electric cars too, while we're at it.”
