Leon Edwards advised to ‘take time from the sport’ by old rival after humiliating UFC London defeat

Leon Edwards rival Jorge Masvidal for a long time had a number of choice words for his old enemy after another dominant defeat on Saturday evening.

The Brit was held four rounds before he was submitted on Saturday evening by Sean Brady in UFC London and lost consecutive fights for the first time in his career. The fight took place at the same location where Masvidal and Edwards had their fight for the first time after an event in 2019.

Despite their physical fight, however, the couple was never able to control the feud in the octhoek. As a result, they are still bitter rivals to this day and they have no friendly words for each other when asked.

Despite just looking at the highlights, fans wanted to hear the opinion of one man when Sean Brady defeated Leon Edwards on Saturday evening. Former world -title candidate and the original BMF champion Jorge Masvidal have never solved his feud with Edwards and wanted to taste him another defeat.

With Submission Radio, Masvidal even spoke to his rival by claiming that it is now time for a break. “Leon probably needs some time from the sport, I think,” he noticed before he admitted that he could return quickly in search of a return to winning ways. “Who knows what he's going to do?”

Masvidal did not look at the entire fight, but knew that it would be difficult with the limited struggle of Edwards that he would struggle against Brady. He did not want to give too much comment, since he had not viewed the game, but noticed that it was a decisive victory for the American.

Although it has been almost a week since its loss, Edwards still has to make a public comment. His brother Fabian has been active on social media as his own fight approaches and has sent a sincere message to his older brother or sister.

But the Elder Edwards has remained silent, despite public attacks by people like Belal Muhammad and even Brady himself. As recently as Monday, the resident of Philadelphia was brought to social media to keep Edwards' 'Head Shot Dead' of the Catchrase on his Instagram story.

He shared a photo of his team with the caption: “” Head Shot Death “? You don't even have guns in London.” He accompanied that with a series of smiling emojis.
