Former UFC champion Welterweight Leon Edwards Koos UFC 314 Fight Week to break his silence after losing Sean Brady.
Leon Edwards is on a new territory after his second consecutive UFC defeat of Sean Brady, just a few weeks ago in UFC London. After losing the UFC -Welterweight title to Belal Muhammad on UFC 304 last July, Edwards van Brady lost through Guillotine inventation to cement the first losing series of his professional career.
The British star Edwards has been relatively quiet since UFC London, so that his brother Fabian and his team can share their first comments since the Brady fight. It is an unknown place for Edwards after an undefeated line of 13-Vecht stuck him as one of the best hunters in the world.
Edwards is now firmly out of the Welterweight Title Mix while Muhammad is preparing for Jack della Maddalena in his first title defense next month. But two victories may be enough to get Edwards a title shot, against Mohammed or who holds the belt at the time.

Edwards entered UFC London and motivated hard to return to the belt after he fell to Muhammad last July. But after his second consecutive defeat, many have questioned Edwards's mindset during his losing Skid and how he treated the last setback.
Edwards is not someone who avoids a self -assured persona, wins or loses, in and out of the octhoek. Despite his recent struggles, he remains one of the best welter weights in the world and a matchup nightmare for many contenders.
Fans have searched for Edwards to talk about what went wrong at UFC London against Brady. Although he did not have detailed what led him against Brady, Edwards only needed two words to show his headroom while preparing for his fighting comeback.
In a recent Instagram post, Edwards broke his weeks of silence after UFC London.
“Still him,” Edwards posted.
For his back-to-back losing to Muhammad and Brady, Edwards' welterweight contained Reign victories on Colby Covington and Kamaru Usman. Edwards became a UFC champion when he eliminated Usman with a main kick at UFC 278.
The old enemy of Leon Edwards encourages a long break from MMA na UFC London
Edwards has heard all kinds of criticism since his UFC London version, including a former enemy. After viewing the latest defeat of Edwards, Jorge Masvidal encouraged him to take a long break from the competition, despite the tease of a matchup for the planned UFC co -latter.
Masvidal's rise to UFC star row started a break to appear in a reality counting show, which led to his incredible run in 2019. Masvidal ended Darren Till, Ben Askren and Nate Diaz to solidify himself as one of the biggest names of the sport.
Some other opponents of Edwards are not so stable in their reviews. UFC analyst Din Thomas labeled Edwards as no 'True Fighter' after he saw him end at UFC London.
In the meantime, Brady has continued to troll in a series of post -fighting social media Jabs. Brady could possibly get the next welterweight title shot against the winner of Muhammad vs. Maddalena.
As far as Edwards are concerned, he will probably see a new top name for his UFC Comeback, whether it is later this year or in 2026. But for now it does not show Edwards -alternating confidence how he deals with his first career.
