Murphy defeated Emmett through a unanimous decision to remain unbeaten in his MMA career, moved to 9-0 in his UFC official period and went up in the rankings of featherweight. Murphy, one of the best MMA stars in the UK, has pronounced Emmett and frustrated the veteran brute from start to finish.
After he got the nod on the score cards, Murphy was initially hesitant to call a top name, but the backstage turned around.

Lerone Murphy calls on a big name Na UFC Vegas 105 Statement Win
Murphy is one of the many budding featherweight contenders that go up the ranking and closer to a potential title shot. After UFC -Fedweight Champion Ilia Topuria's Planning Title Holiday on UFC 314, all the names are on the table for the next few title fights of the division.
Such a name was in the mind of Murphy after UFC Vegas 105.
During the UFC Vegas 105 Post-Fight Show, Murphy called on the former UFC-titleer Brian Ortega for his next featherweight test.
“If I got a finish, I would call the title,” Murphy admitted. “Where is Brian Ortega arranged? Diego Lopes went up to get a title shot after he had fought. So let's go, Brian Ortega!”
Ortega has not fought anymore since a loss for Diego Lopes on UFC 306. He has lost three of his last four battles in general, including a unanimous decision against Alexander Volkanovski for the Feedweight title on UFC 266.
Volkanovski and Lopes come together for the vacant featherweight title on UFC 314 next weekend in Miami. Regardless of who wins on UFC 314, Movsar Evloev is the likely next title -Uitdager after an unbeaten run in the Octagon.
But Murphy is also about to conflicts after his impressive victory over UFC Vegas 105. He probably needs at least one victory to make a solid thing for a title shot.

If Ortega accepts Murphy's callout, it becomes a different veteran versus budding competition -matchup for both parties. Ortega has struggled with his activity level in recent years, and a fight with Murphy could enable him to return to the featherweight title image.
Before beating Emmett at UFC Vegas 105, Murphy won recent victories over Josh Culibao, Dan Ige and Edson Barboza. Murphy and colleague -TOP 10 -Gedersreder Arnold Allen have helped to draw a lot of attention on the British feather weights.
Topuria's Move to Lightweight runs the page on a new era in the UFC Featherweight Division, led by young stars such as Lopes, Allen and Murphy. In the coming months, Murphy has the opportunity to separate from the rest of the peloton.
