Lerone Murphy spread Aaron Pico malignant with a rotating backfist in a late notice Co-Main event on Saturday evening.

Former Bellator Vederweight Pico succeeded in coming out of his PFL contract earlier this year and immediately went to the UFC. He immediately made his intentions clear when he booked a fight with the undefeated number one Contender Movsar Evloev.

However, the fight was eventually canceled and Brit Murphy; Self -arranged number six and without defeat, stepped up to save the day in Chicago.

It took only a few seconds for the couple to every country of the large right hands, with Aaron Pico who stumbled Lerone Murphy and made him take a knee in the early exchange. As usual, the Brit made an entrance before styling the old division gatekeeper in the first two rounds. He dropped Cannonier and sometimes pushed him to the ground, but was made to work for it when he lost the third and eventually made a unanimous decision.

“I wanted to push a little more in the third round,” he told Joe Rogan after the fight. “I made a foolish mistake. Bloody Hell, he is strong at the top.”
