Lerone Murphy spread Aaron Pico malignant with a rotating backfist in a late notice Co-Main event on Saturday evening.
Former Bellator Vederweight Pico succeeded in coming out of his PFL contract earlier this year and immediately went to the UFC. He immediately made his intentions clear when he booked a fight with the undefeated number one Contender Movsar Evloev.
However, the fight was eventually canceled and Brit Murphy; Self -arranged number six and without defeat, stepped up to save the day in Chicago.

It took only a few seconds for the couple to every country of the large right hands, with Aaron Pico who stumbled Lerone Murphy and made him take a knee in the early exchange. The ex-caller star flew out of the trap in search of the knockout shot, but was trapped in a choke that forced him to reconsider.
Murphy went back to the feet before he was immediately returned by wrestling wonderful Pico, who could not do completely damage with the few shots he landed. It was certainly a much less lethargic version than many other former caller stars that came to the UFC in the early moments.
While Pico, however, aggressively seemed to push the position, Murphy turned around and landed a perfect backfist who unknowingly made the 28-year-old with just over a minute on the clock.
It was the second rotating elbow knockout in the night after the brutal defeat of Carlos Prates by Geoff Neal in the previous game.
Murphy and Michael 'Venom' Page represented the UK in exciting UFC 319 main map
It was a big night for British MMA in Chicago when the recurring Michael 'Venom' page took another exciting decision victory in his unexpected new career in the middleweight. The London Shootfighters star never wanted to rise in weight, but was forced because of what he called 'politics' at 170LB.
Page debuted on the weight earlier this year when he comfortable fan -favorite Shara Magomedov in Saudi Arabia comfortably outpunt. And even though he wanted to go down again, he accepted a fight with the Veteran Jared Cannonier instead.

As usual, the Brit made an entrance before styling the old division gatekeeper in the first two rounds. He dropped Cannonier and sometimes pushed him to the ground, but was made to work for it when he lost the third and eventually made a unanimous decision.
“I wanted to push a little more in the third round,” he told Joe Rogan after the fight. “I made a foolish mistake. Bloody Hell, he is strong at the top.”
