The hope of Barcelona to conquer the Liga title against Espanyol on Thursday is stimulated by the return of Robert Lewandowski to their ranks.
The Hansi Flick team knows that a victory in the RCDE stadium will guarantee a 28th top-flight Kroon, although they can win the title before a ball is kicked.
Real Madrid, who are seven points behind their Clasico rivals, will be confronted with Mallorca on Wednesday, and if she is not won, the title will be Barca with two games left.
Lewandowski missed Barca's last three league matches and was also absent in their Copa del Rey Final victory on Madrid on 27 April due to a muscle injury.
This season, the post scored 25 goals in 31 league matches for the Blaugrana, behind only Kylian Mbappe (27) in the race for the Golden Boot of the Division.
“Lewandowski is doing well and of course he is ready to play,” Flick told reporters on Wednesday.
Lewandowski played for 30 minutes in Barcelona's Champions League semi-final defeat for second leg against Inter and also missed their 4-3 victory over Madrid last Saturday.
After their Clasico victory, Barcelona Madrid defeated in all four meetings in all matches this season.
Flick was indeed the second Barcelona manager, after Pep Guardiola (five) between 2008 and 2010, to achieve four or more consecutive victories against Los Blancos.
But Barcelona's boss was fast to praise his players for their display instead of taking the honor themselves.
“We played 24 minutes without Real contact in our half, so it has something to do with pressing, it has something to do with the right structure we had,” he said.
“How we started pressing them when they had the ball was incredible. When I heard this status, I thought it was really great. We can be very proud of that.
“I am happy for the fans, for the club, because I know that is very important to them.”
Flick was also asked about Madrid -Baas Carlo Ancelotti and his decision to become a member of the National Team of Brazil at the end of the season.
“I think he (Ancelotti) did fantastic work in Madrid. He is a gentleman and one of the best and most successful coaches in the world,” said Flick.
“I wish him the very best for his new job. I think he will find a great team there, and he can follow success there.”
