The Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) has announced that there will be two summer transfer windows this year, but the first window only applies to Paris Saint-Germain.
The inaugural FIFA Club World Cup will take place this summer and the summer transfer window of the LFP will meet this. PSG is the only Ligue 1club that participates in the inaugural edition. Les Parisiens is given the opportunity to sign new players from 1 to 10 June, just after the end of the Ligue 1 campaign. That window closes before the start of the World Cup on June 14.
The second transfer window, which applies to all Ligue 1 clubs, not only PSG, will be opened on June 16 and closed on 1 September at 8 p.m. The dates for the winter transfer window of the 2025/26 campaign have also been announced. The window will be opened on Thursday 1 January and then closes on Monday 2 February at 8 p.m.
