One of the most exciting lightweight contenders in the UFC has now set up his hand in case the promotion needs someone to step in.
The Co-Main event of UFC 314 Next month sees the often division Paddy Pimblett opposite Michael Chandler in a huge collision at 155 pounds.
With Chandler who wants to bounce back by handing Pimblett his first loss in the Octagon, there are large posts for both men on 12 April.
If something happens to both men, with this one of the most discussed fights on the calendar at the moment, the UFC would need an exciting replacement.
The matchmakers have made their job easier if such circumstances unfold after a rising star who produced a breathtaking knockout against King Green last weekend against King Green on UFC 313 his name in the mix.

Mauricio Ruffy tells the UFC that it is ready to enter UFC 314 if necessary
Mauricio Ruffy was already one of the most discussed recent additions to the UFC selection on the way to UFC 313 on March 8.
After he stopped King Green with a knockout of the annual candidate, his stock went through the roof and it seems that everything that is for the Brazilian, it will be something big.
Given that he is currently in the good books of the UFC as one of the most discussed hunters in the sport, Ruffy apparently looked into a recent message.
Michael Chandler's own teammate, Jared Gordon, has already stated that he hopes to get a call to step in so that he can try to avenge his controversial loss against Paddy Pimblett.
However, because Ruffy also explains that he will be ready and will be able to fight in Miami, it seems that the UFC may have found their husband in case something happens to one of the most expected fights of 2025 so far.
“UFC, I am ready to be confronted with Michael Chandler or Paddy Pimblett, if the fight falls through! I am 100% physical, I am ready! You have my number, just call! “

Mauricio Ruffy already had another opponent in mind
In his interview after the fight after producing a remarkable knockout in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Mauricio Ruffy already knew who he wanted to fight.
The rising star called for a fight with Beneil Dariush, currently taking the #9 ranking in the lightweight division.
Dariush responded in an interview with Submission Radio, where he stated that while he strives for fighting against higher ranked opponents, he would not change this matchup either.
'If they call me to fight him, then it is. Then we fight against him. “
