Lille OSC striker Jonathan David (25) is in advanced conversations to join the Serie A Giants Napoli, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano.
David's contract with Lille is at the end of the campaign. Despite the attempts of Les Dogues to renew the deal, he leaves the club after five years. During his time at Losc he won the Ligue 1 title and this season he has 25 goals in 48 performances in all competitions.
Since January, David has been free to discuss a pre-contract agreement with another club. Despite gaining interest from the Premier League, a deal looks the most advanced with Napoli. The Serie A Giants have submitted a proposal to the Center-Forward in the middle of advanced discussions between the two parties. However, Romano understands that there are still important details to clarify and that further conversations are taking place.
Lille faces Stade de Reims in the last match of the Ligue 1 season next Saturday. It seems almost certain that David's last is for the French club.
