Lingard furiously hits back at critics of ‘destroying Man Utd culture’

Jesse Lingard has hit back with critics on social media after the former Red Devil's star was accused of 'destroying the culture' in Manchester United alongside Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba.

After completing a surprise transfer in February last year, the 32-year-old enjoys a different season in the South Korean side FC Seoul.

So far, Lingard has made 26 performances for his current side and has succeeded in scoring six goals while he delivers three assists.

The former forest player of United and Nottingham quickly seemed to adapt to a new country and culture, with Seoul coach Kim Gi-Dong insisting that he had become a 'real Korean'.

Despite the recent change in life, however, Lingard was recently beaten for his time at Old Trafford, with some fans even blaming him for the 'destroyed culture' in the side of Manchester.

It all started then, under an X video reminded of a famous goal scored by Lingard in the shirt of the Red Devils in the Campaign 2025-16, a fan replied: 'Him, Pogba and Rashford destroyed the culture that even Rooney even destroyed gave.

“He got his own culture with those other 2 vultures after Sir Alex had left.”

In the meantime, Lingard quickly replied: “Please explain how I destroyed Paul and Marcus the culture of Manchester United?”

Another fan went in the conversation: 'You let us play well, what some stupid b ***** DS who' support 'not like this club because you have dance and fun'

Lingard, however, defended his position by saying: 'Lool we just enjoyed our lives we played for the biggest club in the world, of course we made mistakes and we learn but we are going to enjoy and smile and dance'

The Englishman completed his surprise exit from United in the summer of 2022 with a free transfer to Nottingham Forest.

The Premier League side offered him a £ 200,000 deal, despite the fact that Lingard later made only 20 performances with two goals and two assists.

He was often criticized for his performance at Old Trafford, with a turbulent time by the end of his united career.

His behavior with Paul Pogba was recently noticed by Club's Legends Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand.

Last year Ferdinand – who left the team as an icon in 2014 – opened the changes in the dressing room since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson.

The former Center Back added that he called for former team-mate Rooney after he had remained surprised by the behavior of Lingard and Pogba after their dance video, even though the club was in sixth place.

The legendary boss of United, Ferguson, also sketched the importance of controlling the dressing room in the midst of the disappointing results of the team in recent years.

He hinted that clubs that change their managers too often are losing control of the team. In the meantime, Ruben Amorim has been the sixth manager of United since Ferguson's departure in 2013.

Now, now, on another country and continent, Lingard has not appeared since last year because the South Korean competition ends its campaign at the end of November.

After a first period of struggles in Seoul FC, he managed to turn things around and became the captain of the team on different occasions.

Earlier the player praised his new manager and emphasized his love for the country.

He said: 'Coach Kim Gi-Dong is someone who has a good understanding of football. He leads the team according to a clear plan.

'The K-League collects more fans. I hope that everyone in the football industry, including the coaching staff, players and front office, will not be satisfied with this atmosphere and will continue.

In the meantime, another player who was accused of damaging the culture of the team, Marcus Rashford, moved to Aston Villa to restart his career.

He completed the deal during a loan transfer of six months after he was out of favor of the new Amorim manager.

The 27-year-old attacker already made his debut for the Birmingham side in a FA Cup 2-1 victory over Tottenham on Sunday.
