Lionesses star claims ‘negative behaviour’ is impacting her ‘mental wellbeing’

Chloe Kelly has released a passionate explanation while she insists on an exit before the WSL theadline closes in less than 24 hours.

The Manchester winger only started once in front of Gareth Taylor's side in the WSL this season, and has now come out and said that her situation has a negative influence on her mental health.

Reports have suggested that Manchester City is willing to leave Kelly before the transfer window closes on Thursday at 11 p.m., if an offer meets their appreciation. Kelly has also been associated with a loan movement to Cross-Town Rivals Manchester United.

Kelly released this statement late on Wednesday evening via Instagram while trying to get to the euro team of Sarina Wiegman, which has been removed for less than six months.

Wiegman has said before that Kelly has built 'credit' with the team, but she is concerned about her lack of minutes in Manchester City.

Kelly wrote: 'An important lesson that I have learned in my life is that, although I cannot control the negative behavior of someone, I can determine how long I am willing to tolerate it.

'From the first day I felt so much love from my teammates and the fans. With my contract that ends in June, I accepted that my future is not in this club.

'Now that the euros are approaching quickly, this summer is huge and I want to be able to give it my best chance to represent my country. Something that has always filled me with so much pride and it is a true honor to do this.

'But to be dictated who I can and cannot participate in only four months left of the football season, has a huge impact on not only my career, but also my mental well -being. This situation has been towed too long, it is disappointing and not good. '

It is not clear whose 'negative behavior' she refers. She has not played since December, with Taylor quoting an ankle injury earlier this month.
