LIV to immortalise Jota with permanent tribute & ‘Forever 20’ emblem on new kits

Liverpool will continue to honor Diogo Jota after the tragic death of the striker earlier this month – and the club has announced several permanent tribute.

Jota and his brother Andre Silva died three weeks ago at a car accident in Spain and the club has since been in a state of mourning.

Fans have visited from all over the world to express their respect with flowers, shirts and written messages outside of Anfield.

And now Jota will be reminded forever outside the stadium with a permanent sculpture. The design has not yet been decided and it will be accompanied by flower tribute on all club sites, including the training field and the headquarters of the ladies team.

A 'Forever 20' emblem will also be printed on the new Liverpool kits that will be released by Adidas on 1 August. This stays in place all season.

Moreover, if supporters want the name Diogo J and number 20 on the back of their new shirts, all the profit from printing will go to the LFC Foundation. The foundation has committed itself to creating a football program of De Basis in the name of Diogo.

The most important commemoration will be a special fan -Mosaic and Minute's Silence during the first home Premier League match of the season when the champions will compete against Bournemouth in Anfield on Friday 1 August.
