Liverpool seems to be on the market for a new central defender, and they have set their sights on one of the brightest stars in La Liga as one of their transfer options.
It is expected that at least one center-back Liverpool will leave this summer-and that could be Ibrahima Konate, which was associated with Real Madrid. But anyway, there is a shortlist that is set up for the position, and according to enchanted side a player on the Creshian Mosquera of Valencia is on it.
Mosquera is in the back of an impressive season, but it seems that he is his last in Valencia colors. His contract has risen in 2026, and with a renewal that looks very unlikely, Los Che is willing to cash in to prevent him from losing it for nothing in about 13 months.
Because of this he should be a market opportunity for those who pick it up. Chelsea is said to be sharp, but they can be defeated by Liverpool, which have been very proactive with regard to transfers in recent weeks.
But according to the report, Mosquera and his representatives prefer a switch to the Bundesliga, where RB Leipzig is interested. Their conviction is that it would be better for his development to become a member of a club where he is guaranteed to play regularly, which would be the case in Germany compared to joining Liverpool or Chelsea.
Mosquera is reportedly available in the region of € 30 million, which, if matched, would be good money for Valencia to invest again in their first team team. Important additives are needed, and if they arrive, there is a chance that head coach Carlos Corberan could lead them much higher to the rankings of La Liga.
