Liverpool and Newcastle United are both in the market for a new centre-back, with their attentions focused on La Liga in their respective pursuits. The player they are looking for is someone who has been on their radar for a while: Loic Bade.
Bade has been a very impressive player for Sevilla since his arrival in 2023. During this period his stock has risen significantly and he now looks set for a return to the Premier League, having previously played for Nottingham Forest.
According to Diario AS, Liverpool and Newcastle are both keen to sign Bade, who Sevilla would let go if an offer of around €25-30 million was accepted.
It is noted that a deal could be completed as early as this month, although Sevilla will be desperate to ensure Bade remains on the books until at least the end of the season. However, when it comes to the Premier League in the coming weeks, it will be difficult to achieve this goal.
