Liverpool could be missing eight players for PSG Champions League tie after disciplinary action

Liverpool will be on Wednesday evening without four players for their Champions League collision with Paris Saint-Germain, while disciplinary issues can also cost the Reds the services of another four players during the draw.

Long -term absences Joe Gomez and Tyler Morton, both of whom have undergone an operation for hamstring and shoulder injuries respectively, will be accompanied by Conor Bradley on the sidelines, who rose a hamstring injury against Aston Villa last month. The Reds will also be without young defender Amara Nallo because of the suspension after his red card on his debut against PSV Eindhoven in January, although it was unlikely that the teenager would prevent in Paris.

The Reds are also confronted with an increasing disciplinary issue, with Ibrahima Konate, Andy Robertson and Harvey Elliott all one yellow card away from a suspension of one game in the Champions League that was warned twice in the competition, which meant they were the second stage of anfield.

Moreover, Alexis Mac Allister, who has already served a ban on one competition in the competition phase, runs the risk of another suspension. The Argentina International has been shown four times the yellow card in the competition of this season.

Players receive a suspension of one game after collecting three yellow cards that did not result in a red card, as well as after a subsequent un -numbered caution. With yellow cards that only end until the quarterfinals are over, these players have four games to navigate without being banned, according to the Liverpool Echo.

In the meantime, Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch, Luis Diaz, Kostas Tsimikas and Darwin Nunez all received one booking this season in the Champions League, so it would be confronted with a ban if they received two more bookings for the quarterfinals.

Although different Liverpool players are on thin ice discipline, the Reds will gladly have both Arne Slot and assistant head coach Sipke Hulshoff in the Dugout in Paris.

Both currently serve a two-game touchline ban in the Premier League for their behavior towards civil servants after the controversial 2-2 draw of Liverpool last month with Everton, but can return to the sidelines for Champions League matches.
