Liverpool fan BURNS TAA shirt in protest against star nearing Real Madrid move

A Liverpool fan has pronounced his frustrations with Trent Alexander-Arnold by burning one of his shirts in a viral video.

On Tuesday, Mail Sport reported that Los Blancos is confident to sign Alexander-Arnold this summer-with sources in Spain that suggest that the move is 'completely ready and done'.

With the defender in contract in the summer – in addition to Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah – he was constantly associated with the Spanish giants.

The news that Alexander-Arnold is close to a move to Madrid sent social media in a razoria, where a fan brought their protests to a whole new level.

There was a clip on X that showed a supporter who burned the back of a shirt from Alexander-Arnold and proudly held against the camera.

It was certainly not possible to go back to the decision for the Reds supporter after the fire had created a large hole in the back of the sweater.

In response to the news, many fans went to social media to express their indignation and claimed that Arne Slot should now freeze Alexander-Arnold for the rest of 2024-25.

One said: 'I would personally drop Trent for the rest of the season. Don't let him be part of the end of the season. Don't let him say goodbye.

“I don't even have him on the couch. Don't let him be part of the title celebrations or Parade. Let him look at the team from home. '

Another smoking supporter agreed and added: 'Don't let him play another game. Don't even let him in Anfield when we cancel the title. '

An extra fan brought in with: 'Bench Trent for the rest of the season', with a further supporter who says: 'Does Trent start in the rest of the 9 games? I know he's injured, but will he ever play for LFC again? I don't think so. '

The potential departure of Alexander-Arnold is an important blow to Liverpool, because he has not only risen by the ranks, but he is considered one of the best full backs in the world.

After attending their academy at the age of six, the defender made his debut as an 18-year-old in an EFL cup against Tottenham in 2018.

Since then he has gone 349 performances and has been a cornerstone in the enormous success of Liverpool in recent years.

Alexander-Arnold has scored 22 goals about his time in Anfield and added 87 assists.

In the meantime, the defender – who has won eight trophies with his boy's club – was appointed vice -captain in the summer of 2023.

In recent times he was challenged in his position by Conor Bradley and various fans found that Alexander-Arnold this season should be replaced by the Northern Irish in the remaining competitions while they also called to be stripped of the vice-capainty.
