Liverpool has spent heavily this summer and the sale is now on the agenda because the Reds strive to build money with Luis Diaz among the potential candidates to leave Anfield for the end of the window
Liverpool is determined not to sell Luis Diaz this summer, despite the growing interest in the Colombian winger. Diaz, 28, is linked this summer to a large number of clubs after the Summer of Heavy expenditure of the Reds.
Barcelona are long -term admirers of the winger, but now seem to give priority to a movement for Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao. They also look at Manchester United Massfit Marcus Rashford.
Elsewhere, Bayern Munich has also shown interest in Diaz in recent days, in which reports in Germany suggest that the sports director of Bundesliga Side Max Eberl had held conversations. But it seems that an exit from Anfield is not on the cards this summer.
As it looks now, the Reds have no plans to cash in Diaz that has rejected a first request from Barcelona. Instead, Liverpool Chiefs concentrate on other editions, with Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliott reserved for potential outputs.
Diaz has two more years about his contract in Anfield after signing from Porto in 2022. Since then he has scored 41 goals in all competitions – a record with 17 in the past term from Liverpool with Liverpool.
Diaz has already spoken about his future. Last month he said: “I am very happy in Liverpool – I have always said that. They welcomed me very well.
“The transfer market is opened and we try to arrange what is best for us. I am waiting to see what happens. If Liverpool gives us a good extension or I have to see my two -year contract, I will be happy. It all depends on it. I am here to decide and see what is best for us and the future.”
Diaz's wife Gera Ponce, on the other hand, seemed to share what a farewell message was on social media, just a few weeks ago. She wrote: “For the incredible fans of Liverpool. From the first day we arrived, we felt first -hand what it means to be part of this club.
