Liverpool must help with wages if Chiesa to make Serie A return

The former Juventus striker has been linked with a return to Serie A after struggling for form and fitness in his first six months at Anfield.

Napoli, Atalanta and Inter Milan are all interested in Chiesa for the January market.

But La Gazzetta dello Sport say the chances of a return home depend on whether Liverpool will pay a percentage of his wages if he goes out on loan.

Chiesa moved from Juve to Liverpool on deadline day in August.
