Liverpool receive Isak ultimatum as Newcastle wipe striker from club shop

Alexander Isak continues to train separately at Newcastle United, where Eddie Howe makes it clear that Liverpool's goal will probably not appear in their first Premier League match against Aston Villa

Alexander Isak still only trains on the Benton basis of Newcastle United, where Liverpool is told that the Swede is not for sale unless they are launching a serious offer. Magpies -Manager Eddie Howe has indicated that it is unlikely that the Isak will appear against Aston Villa in the Premier League opener of Newcastle on Saturday, while transfer speculation continues.

Although things can change in football very quickly, Howe admits that speaking with the striker has not been easy – and if he could have convinced Isak to stay happily in the northeast, the issue would already be resolved.

So what is the next step for Newcastle and Isak? Currently the photos of the Swede were removed from the club shop and the staff of Adidas told Chronicle Live that during the trip from the club to Zuid -Korea, the sale of Jersey with the name of Isak and the song dropped dramatically.

Newcastle is still looking for a new striker who can step into the shoes of Isak, where Benfica's Vangelis Pavlidis is the latest name for the Magpies – although he is only one of the different options.

The club is also still waiting for a higher offer for Isak. The most recent bid from Liverpool, made at the beginning of August, was around £ 110 million, but it was immediately rejected.

If Isak wants to leave and Newcastle wants to replace it, a substantial bid is needed for both parties. It was previously suggested that £ 150 million is the asking price, but it is now assumed that £ 130 million plus add-ons may be sufficient to close the deal.

Anyway, Isak – and its potential future club, Liverpool – have received the last word: no serious offer means no transfer.

Until that time, the door will remain open for Isak to train in preparation for the game in Villa Park, and possibly play again for the black and white-Ise where he has not shown no interest in doing this preseason.

Newcastle now seems to be going to go into their Premier League opener without their husband who found 27 times for them last season and helped them shoot in the Champions League.

Isak had previously been the face of the new third kit discharge earlier this summer, even in Adidas campaigns with club icon Tino Asprilla in the Tyneside Irish Center, but that was well for some rumors about a transfer.

Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton continue to prefer picks among supporters for sweater numbers and names, but it is expected that a new striker can recover some of the missing income.

On the training field, however, Howe has to push ahead without his key player. Although his unavailability is an important blow in preparations, the boss acknowledged that maintaining the spirits of the team is just as crucial.

Howe said: “Of course I think the group is disturbed, but I think when you have a player in this situation, it is worrying for the team.

“I don't think we've been to that position since I was here, the harmony and togetherness of the group has been highest, so I think it was of course just a subject of conversation, it has been a distraction and the biggest hit we have taken is that we are not blessed with a number of players in his position, so I think you've seen a big gap.

“But I have to say that the players have a big credit because they have done their work, training has been of a very high level.

“I have not seen a negative output on the field, but I was aware of feeling the group that there is something that is not in favor of the group.”

This places Newcastle in a challenging place on the way to the Villa collision, with the determined version of Anthony Gordon against Atletico Madrid who does not yield a goal and Joelinton spells countless opportunities.

Howe was even asked if he would consider asking the Brazilian to return to Spits Taken this season, after he had transformed the former number nine into a midfielder, but the head coach laughs at this suggestion.

When he was busy with it or Isak can still be moved to make a comeback in Villa Park, Howe added: “I don't see that changing for Aston Villa, the current situation in which we find ourselves.”
