Liverpool scouting Championship wonderkid Ryan One, 18, after breaking into promotion-chasing Sheffield United first XI

LIVERPOOL are continuing to compile a dossier on Sheffield United's teenage striker Ryan One.

Kop spies like the looks of the mighty Scot, 18, who has already been part of Blades' promotion chase team.

One is the type of physical frontman Liverpool lack in their ranks of emerging talent, and they are ready to move for him.

Blades see One as a player for the future and would therefore be looking for a big fee when the Anfield chiefs come calling.

The teenager spent his early career north of the border with Hamilton before joining United in 2023.

He made his debut for the club last season at Arsenal before the Blades fell to the Championship.

The powerful striker has since made ten appearances for Chris Wilder's side, attracting the attention of Merseyside scouts.

One scored his first goal for the club in a 2–1 win over Bristol City in early November.

Ryan, the son of former Scotland lower striker Armand One, has already made an impact on the international stage.

He was part of Archie Gemmill's Scotland Under-21 squad in October and got minutes against Belgium and Kazakhstan.

One person said: “I didn't expect it at all because I was selected for the Under-19s, but it was an amazing feeling.

“The level of training was very good.

“But that's what you would expect when so many of these players are playing in the first team.

“I tried to keep up, but I think I did a good job.”

Meanwhile, Derby have joined the growing list of clubs keen to loan Jayden Danns if Liverpool make the move.

The promising striker, 18, has been productive at youth level for the club and was previously linked with a move to Wayne Rooney's Plymouth.
