Manchester United has reportedly identified a new goal in midfield after he was concerned about the considerable appreciation of Brighton from Carlos Baleba
The pursuit of Manchester United to the Adam Wharton of Crystal Palace could be thrown in disorder by Liverpool's transfer plans. Ruben Amorim's team is considering in midfield goals after bringing in three attackers this summer.
New striker Benjamin Sesko will lead a renewed United attack, supported by colleague signing sessions Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha. After compiling their front three, United has shown interest in Brighton -midfielder Carlos Baleba.
The hefty price tag of the Seagulls has reportedly led the club to consider Palace Ace Wharton as an alternative. However, United's chances of closing a deal for Wharton can depend on the future of the other star players of Palace, Marc Guehi and Ebereechi Eze.
The Independent has stated that United Wharton has identified as an alternative to Baleba because of the price tag of the latter, which is said to exceed more than £ 100 million. However, it is suggested that the Eagles can demand even more for Wharton if they participate in England -Duo Guehi and Eze.
Liverpool wants Guehi to strengthen Arne Slot's defensive choices. The 25-year-old is in the last year of his contract and Liverpool hopes to sign the middle back for £ 35 million, while Palace is supposed to demand £ 40 million. The middle behind is enthusiastic about the movement, but a deal seemed to go out with both clubs at some distance apart on its appreciation.
However, the situation of Guehi in Palace is further confused by the interest of the club in Harvey Elliott in Liverpool, which is appreciated for the same price. The sun reports that a Swap deal in which Guehi and Elliott are involved is not excluded, which can damage the hope of United to sign Wharton.
There was more hope that Guehi could stay in Palace this season, making the Eagles possibly more receptive to offers for Wharton. However, the club is not willing to let the defender walk away for nothing next summer.

In the meantime, Palace is said to see Elliott as a potential replacement for Eze, who has attracted the attention of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. Eze's release clause has been set at £ 68 million, but it claimed to end on Friday.
If Palace break up with just one of Eze or Guehi, the Eagles may be more inclined to consider bids for Wharton. However, if both Guehi and Eze leave, they will become even more determined to keep the midfielder and they will have a stronger financial position after possible transfer costs for the duo.

The defensive midfielder shares at the same age as Baleba, who since his move to Brighton from Lille also attracted attention in the Premier League two years ago.
