The Liverpool of Arne Slot does not slide when they look to further strengthen a team that won the Premier League title in the first season of their manager at the helm
Liverpool has been one of the busiest Premier League clubs this summer, but they may not be ready yet. The Reds have already broken the transfer record of the competition and there is a chance that they can do it again before the transfer window closes.
That record -breaking £ 116 million movement for Florian Wirtz is just one of a number of high -profile deals. The title holders of Arne Slot have also added the will of Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong and Hugo Ekitike while they want to defend their crown.
The large remaining question concerns whether Alexander Isak will move to Anfield. Newcastle does not want to say goodbye to the Sweden International if they can avoid this, but another record offer can force their hand.
Liverpool starts their league campaign at home to Bournemouth on 15 August. That leaves them for fourteen days to do more business.

Slot's response to Diaz -Deal
Arne Slot talked for the first time about the exit of Luis Diaz Liverpool. Colombian international Diaz has completed a relocation of £ 65.5 million to Bayern Munich, despite the fact that the Reds likes to keep it in the neighborhood.

While Liverpool is waiting to learn if they can land Isak, the striker started training with the former Real Sociedad club. The striker is working back from the small injury that kept him out of the Newcastle tour, in which Sky Sports reported that the Magpies were aware of his plans to go to San Sebastian.
“He is still our player. He has contracted us. We have checked to a certain extent what the next one is for him,” said Newcastle -Baas Eddie Howe earlier in the week.
“I would like to believe that all options are still available to us. My wish is that it will stay, but that is not under my complete control”
