Liverpool is now in 'Advanced Talks' with Eintracht Frankfurt about a deal to bring Hugo Ekitike to Anfield for a package of more than £ 70 million.
Ekitike has already been praised by Premier League clubs this summer and the Newcastle bid for the Frenchman recently. But Ekitike wants to become a member of Liverpool, who has also made an approach for Alexander Isak from Newcastle.
BBC Sport says that conversations with Frankfurt about Ekitike are in an advanced stage with Liverpool that brings in a new No. 9 this summer. Personal conditions are deemed to be with Ekitike, who registered 22 goals and 12 assists last season.
Bayern 'confident' on Diaz
Bayern Munich are of the opinion that Luis Diaz will add this summer to them, despite seeing their opening bid for the Liverpool wing player rejected by the Premier League champions.
