Liverpool has already made six new signing sessions this summer and there can be much more income and expenditure before the transfer window is closed on 1 September

So far, Liverpool has enjoyed a busy summer and brought people like Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong and Giorgi Mhamardashvili in while Arne Slot seems to accompany the Reds to another Premier League title.

There have also been a number of expenses, in which Trent Alexander-Arnold joined Real Madrid, Jarell Quansah, the switch to Bayer Leverkusen and Caoimhin Kelleher who signed for Brentford.

And there can be much more income and expenses before the window is closed on 1 September. Here Mirror Football looks a look at Het Laatste Nieuws about transfer and rumors from in and around Anfield …

The asking price of Fofana

According to a report from the independent, Liverpool -target -white Malick Fofana is appreciated by Lyon at around € 60 million (£ 51.5 million).

The report states that Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Napoli, RB Leipzig, Nottingham Forest and Fulham are all interested in the 20-year-old after he had produced 17 target contributions in 41 games last season.

The report states that Lyon is hopeful that the price will be increased due to the amount of the interest in Fofana. The French side must sell because their financial problems have seen them relegate from Ligue 1, although the club appeals against the decision.

Diaz pronounces

Luis Diaz is strongly connected this summer to a relocation of Liverpool, where both Barcelona and Bayern Munich would be interested in signing the winger.

And Diaz has now spoken about the rumors and tells the Colombian broadcaster Winsports: “It is not yet known, we are talking to the board. We are familiar with where I am, and we have to see it.”

However, it has been reported earlier that Liverpool does not want to sell the winger and has already rejected an approach from Bayern. Diaz scored 17 goals and offered eight assists in all competitions last season.

Zubimendi joins Arsenal

Arsenal has signed midfielder Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, only one year after he has rejected the chance to join Liverpool.

Zubimendi was reluctant to leave his boys' club last year and the 26-year-old has now revealed why he chose Arsenal. “This is a huge moment in my career,” he told the Arsenal website.

“It is the move that I was looking for and one that I wanted to make. As soon as you set foot here, you realize how big this club and this team are. I have set my sights on Arsenal because their playing style fits me well. They have recently shown their potential and the best to come.”
