A renewed Liverpool plays in an Anfield party in the first home game, because the title was secured, does not sound like the ideal afternoon for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta, especially when the Gunners still need points to secure Champions League football.
I am sure they will eventually get them, but I just can't escape the idea that this is a game that they really don't need. Their record at Anfield is bad, and if this opens in an entertaining competition, I really see one winner.

I don't see Arne Slot making as many changes as he did against Chelsea. Liverpool gets their first Anfield wacht and those in the head will expect that a performance of champions will follow.
Arsenal will still puncture their exit from the Champions League and looked vulnerable in the Premier League in recent weeks. I think this can be a real day in the sun for the Reds when they celebrate their title Triumph.

Arsenal staggered after their season in Paris in Paris crashed. I don't see them recover from that blow to a Liverpool team in party mode.
There will be a festive atmosphere in Anfield, where neither of them really plays for something. With that in mind, I see Liverpool only really coming at the top.
Games between these two in previous seasons have been blockbusters, but I doubt that Arsenal will be able to match the Reds, which fly high on morally. Arteta needs more time to regroup.

This competition certainly does not have the bite that it may have done six weeks ago. Liverpool can celebrate until the season ends, with maybe a few players trying to earn a future in the club, while Arsenal can still mourn another term without silverware.
Can the crowd of Anfield generate an intensity that may lack the game? It's hard to say. Mikel Arteta wants his side to bounce back in the hope of earning some momentum on the way to next season, but they know that little is needed to strengthen their place in the Champions League.
It can ensure that talented players have a lot of freedom to produce an entertaining tie. But there is a feeling that the game has difficulty coming out of second gear.
