Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konaté reacts to reported PSG & Real Madrid interest

Last Friday ESPN reported that Paris Saint-Germain of Liverpool Centrum-Back Ibrahima Konaté (25) had made a priority goal for the summer. A report was added that the former Paris FC Academy player was seduced by a move back to the French capital.

Konaté's contract with the Reds is currently running until the summer of 2026, and with 18 months to go, the Premier League side makes efforts to bind the defender in Merseyside for longer. In an interview with Téléfoot, the French international defender responded to the current Ligue 1 -Leiders and the current Champions League holders Real Madrid. “Hearing such big clubs show interest in me is very flattering!,” Said Konaté in the show that was broadcast this Sunday morning. “Now I concentrate on this season and give it everything and I let my agents take care of the rest.” While reports of a move to PSG have arisen, the French football news understands that – as things are now – the Capital Club has not taken a step to sign the former RB Leipzig defender.
