An ecstatic Rio Ngumoha could not control his joy after he had written in Liverpool -Folklore on Monday evening.
The 16-year-old, who turns 17 on Friday, scored a second half of the stop time winner for the Reds because they won 3-2 at Rivals Newcastle in a hectic Premier League meeting.
The teenager is now the youngest score in the legendary history of the club with that strike in what turned out to be a fairy-tale English top-flight debut.
And thinking about the size of the moment, the compelling emotion of Ngumoha was delighted.
“I buzzes,” the attacker told LFCTV after the game. 'I am so happy to score, especially the winner. What a good time. Special feeling.
'Normally say coaches' make the back post [run]”So the fact that I could make the back post was crazy.
Mo [Salah] and stupid [Szoboszlai]Stop it through his legs and when I was one-on-one, I just smashed it. Dom just knew I was there. He even said to me in the dressing room “I hope you were there”.
“When the ball came, I supported myself to score. I don't even know, it's just crazy. '
Ngumoha appeared in St James' Park in the 96th minute and revealed whatever the words of Arne Slot were when he made his debut.
“It was crazy. He just looked at me, pointed at me “quickly, get ready”. You just have to come and have an impact. Thank goodness I did that. '
The teenager was full of praise for his teammates because he encouraged him to express himself.
'All my teammates encourage me that, if it is on, to beat or accept my husband.
“But I sometimes have to mix it because, if there are two players, there might be a pass or a two and I am in a score.”
Despite his younger years, Ngumoha showed some humility when he chose not to be dragged along.
'I heard the fans scream my name and it was a very sensational moment.
'But I can't be dragged too much by all the noise, because at the end of the day I probably put 100 times on the training field, so it's no different with the fans. But the fans who support you there drive it crazy. '
Fans of Liverpool will gladly see that their new Sterret has a similar impact on Sunday when they organize title rivals Arsenal on Anfield Next.
