Logan Paul makes secret $500million Conor McGregor plea to UFC and WWE owner

Logan Paul begged UFC and WWE supremo Ari Emanuel to fight Conor McGregor in footage posted to YouTube yesterday.

The social media sensation has been signed up to appear every week as part of WWE's new Netflix deal, and has 'dedicated his life' to the venture. But he has admitted an offer to fight McGregor could lure him back to the boxing ring.

Although the basis for reports of a pair of $250 million purses for their future fight comes from a parody account, both men appear to be following the story. And Paul even joked that the WWE would have to match a number like that to keep him from competing.

Logan Paul shares footage of a phone call with Conor McGregor

In a vlog posted to his YouTube channel yesterday, Logan Paul spoke for the first time about the possibility of fighting Conor McGregor publicly. The fight has been rumored since the Irishman tweeted that a 'provisional agreement' had been reached with the Indian Ambani family at the end of last year.

And Paul seemed well prepared for the fight, telling one of WWE's writers that any mention of a boxing retirement in his promos would be a lie. He even showed up on the phone with McGregor, who told him the fight was a very real possibility.

“This could really happen, my man,” McGregor could be heard saying to Paul as he held the phone up to the camera, smiling. “This can and will happen.”

Logan Paul tells WWE to match fight offer of $250 million

A big factor for both men seems to be the money, whether it's legit or not. Bloody Elbow sources have indicated that the real purses on offer for such a fight, which is also being sold to Logan's brother Jake Paul and business partner KSI, are much closer to $25 million than the reported $250 million.

However, he and McGregor continue to claim that they are being offered the monstrous sum, which would take their combined earnings to the half-billion dollar mark. And he told WWE president Nick Khan that he would need a similar offer to turn down a fight offer of that magnitude.

“I mean, man, it would be an epic fight,” he told a dejected Rob Fee, a WWE writer tasked with helping him cut promos. “It's something that I might take some time away from WWE to do.

“$250 million, Rob? $250 million, I have to take that. Unless, if Nick Khan matches that, I stay in the WWE.”

Later in the video, Paul headed to his former home in Los Angeles to appear at WWE Raw's debut on Netflix. He appeared in a pre-recorded interview before heading to ringside to excite fans and announce his plans to compete all year long.

Paul spent time backstage and ringside with some of the company's big stars, including his old rivals Kevin Owens and LA Knight. But perhaps the most interesting moment came when he ran into Ari Emanuel, the CEO of Endeavor and the TKO Group, owner of WWE and UFC.

He could be seen shaking Emanuel's hand and telling him, “Ari, I need one favor from you,” to which the Hollywood mogul replied, “Yes,” before Paul said, “I want you to give me the green light against Conor.' The pair then laughed, before saying “seriously” between themselves.
