Vincent Kompany expects Jamal Musiala Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals of Bayern Munich will miss with a hamstring injury.
The Bundesliga leaders expanded their benefits to the top to nine points after they have come from behind to beat 10-man Augsburg 3-1 on Friday.
However, the victory was overshadowed by injury to Musiala, which Bayern had brought back to the WWK -Arena.
The attacking midfielder went down in the 54th minute and signaled to be replaced, which contributed to an injury list that already contained as Manuel Neuer, Alphonso Davies and Dayot Upamecano.
Although disappointed by the potential unavailability of Musiala to be in the Allianz Arena on Tuesday, Kompany has insisted on his players to respond to the setback in a positive way.
“We have played a few times without Jamal this season,” said the head coach.
“I am not a doctor and don't want to look too far ahead, but unfortunately it seems that he will miss it [Inter match]. We will know more after checks today or tomorrow.

“But at these moments I always have the feeling that we should not stop. These moments happen.
“We worked our way to this situation, and in the six remaining league games and in the Champions League we want to use our opportunities and win something, be successful.
“So we don't have to take too much of the sometimes sad stories and gain strength of the problems we have solved this season.”
Kompany also praised the character of his side after he had destroyed their early shortage, with Harry Kane and Leroy Sane also on goal in the second half.
“If you take the goal we have admitted – in the first and second half we were defensively solid,” said Kompany.
“After going down 1-0 and how the team worked back in the game, was a good sign.”
