Luana Santos dances in the Octagon after historic submission win at UFC Vegas 106

Luana Santos celebrated in style after her historical victory over UFC Vegas 106.

The Bantamweight hunter was on the UFC Apex against Tainara Lisboa on the UFC Apex on Saturday evening.

Luana Santos wrote history by completing her fight in the second round with a Keylock/Americana entry.

The rarely seen entry had previously deducted in the Octagon eight times, but it was never done by a woman before UFC Vegas 106.

Luana Santos celebrates UFC history

Commentator Michael Bisping said, “I doubt that she will get that”, moments before Santos became the first woman to score a Keylock/Americana retention victory in the UFC.

The 25-year-old ran away with her hands in the air before he shouted to celebrate her big win over Lisboa.

As soon as she calmed down, Santos took out some dance movements to get the best of her moment in the spotlight.

Fans went to social media to respond to the historical victory and show-stealing of Santos.

“History,” said a fan. While another added, “That's epic!”

“Was a great sub,” a third person noted.

“That's great,” someone else tweeted.

“Just unlocked a new level of badass,” wrote a fifth fan.

“Everyone who said this was a garbage card is stupid,” this happy fan kept up.

Luana Santos Eyes UFC 320 Fight

During her interview after the fight, Santos responded to writing history before looking at the future.

The 9-2 star called for a return to UFC 320 in Guadalajara, Mexico, on September 13.

“I came to write history,” Santos said through a translator.

'I am already a tap, now I have the first Americana. So thank you.

“It felt really good at 135 … Another fight at 135, then I can put the hammer down and say that I will say.

“I heard that there will be a UFC in Mexico. I would like to fight there.”
