Lucas Hernández (28) has been out of action since suffering a serious anterior ligament injury during Borussia Dortmund's UEFA Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain in May.
It was an injury that required surgery and ruled him out of Euro 2024. He has also missed the start of the current season but is now closing in on a return. As confirmed by the club in a press release, Hernandez returned to first-team training on Thursday. His slowdown was temporarily halted in recent days by a minor illness, which he has now overcome.
Hernandez has been out since May and has a head start on his recovery. He could play for PSG before the winter break and before the New Year. Before the winter break, PSG will take on AJ Auxerre, RB Salzburg, Olympique Lyonnais and AS Monaco before wrapping up 2024 with a visit to RC Lens in the Coupe de France on December 22.
