Luís Campos preparing for next season with PSG but could leave if…

As the end of the season approaches, the future of Luís Campos in Paris Saint-Germain remains unsolved. While Luis Enrique confirmed his stay at PSG in February, Campos still has to do the same, even though the deal of the sports director ends at the end of the season.

While the uncertainty rules, however, Campos works as if he will still be in the club, the start of the following season and is working on the coming transfer window, by continuing to explore players for the club. A source has told Le Parisien that Campos is “100% dedicated to the project” at the club, while there is internal optimism with regard to an extension.

“Everything will be done in due course,” the entourage of Nasser Al-Khelaifi told Le Parisien. The PSG President was in Villa Park next to Campos on Monday and Tuesday, with the couple locked up in a long conversation during the training session on Monday evening in Birmingham.

Although the Portuguese sports director is inclined to stay outside his current deal in the Parc des Princes, if PSG won all the matches in which they are currently, including the UEFA Champions League, he could leave in the summer after the end of his current deal. PSG is also confronted with Stade de Reims in the final of the Coupe de France with the club also on course for an invincible season in Ligue 1.
