Luis Diaz has re -confirmed his happiness in Liverpool after he was connected to a transfer to Saudi Arabia. Diaz will be confronted this summer with an important phase in his career, with two years left to walk with his current Liverpool contract and numerous other interested clubs.
The Colombia International contributed 17 goals and eight assists in 50 performances in all competitions to help Liverpool terminate the 2024/25 campaign with the Premier League trophy. His long-term future on MerseSide is somewhat uncertain in the midst of interest from Barcelona and Saudi side al-Nassr.
Barca Sporting Director Deco has publicly admitted that the club admires Diaz, while his father said earlier that it would be a “dream” for his son to join the Catalan giants. In the meantime, Al-Nassr is said to also keep an eye on Diaz, which Cristiano Ronaldo could replace as the star player of the club.
The 28-year-old winger has now moved to cast cold water over these rumors. “I feel that I am going through a really good period,” he told the club website. “I am really happy to be here, to be part of this great attitude, this great club and to have great teammates around me.
