Luis Enrique praised the power of Ligue 1 while Paris Saint-Germain is preparing for Brest on Saturday for their play-off of the All-French Champions League in February.
PSG will meet Brest three times in February, twice in the two-legged knockout play-off draw in Europe's Premier competition, after their competition collision on Saturday.
It will only be the one ever of the competition ever, after the collision between Lyon and Bordeaux in the quarterfinals of 2009-10 (3-2 Lyon victory over aggregated).
Four Ligue 1-clubs went through the Champions League Knockouts, where Monaco was confronted in the play-offs to Benfica, while Lille insured an automatic place after ending in the top eight in the competition phase.
“The French league is not appreciated enough, but there are now four French teams in the Champions League,” said Luis Enrique.
“There will be at least two in the last 16. This is very important for Ligue 1, and I think it is an achievement that is worth talking about.

PSG defeated Brest 3-1 in their home game in September and the side of Luis Enrique was unbeaten this season in Ligue 1.
Brest has only won 8% of their matches against PSG in the competition (3/36), their lowest winning percentage at a current top of the top. They even gone 26 games without a victory against them (D8 L16).
“Brest is a great team that worked very well and had an exceptional level last year. This team carries out his game plan very well,” added the Spaniard.
“We are first gone twice and the Champions League is different – every mistake there is expensive. Tomorrow will be a different scenario. We want to maintain our momentum.
“We are at the top of the Ligue 1 table [but] Ligue 1 and the Champions League are two different competitions. We will have to perform well in both. “
Luis Enrique has praised goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who said on Wednesday that he wanted to expand his contract with PSG in the midst of transfer connections with Inter. His current deal with the Parisians will expire next year.
“The words of Donnarumma were very positive. We want players who want to play here,” said Luis Enrique.
“If someone wants to belong to a club and want to represent a city like Paris, you must have that drive because there will be many challenges.”
