Luis Enrique will not allow any complacency to take up when Paris Saint-Germain takes it against Lyon on Sunday.
PSG is in sparkling form and has beaten Brest 10-0 over two legs in the Champions League, while they are 10 points clear at the top of Ligue 1.
PSG is indeed unbeaten in their 22 Ligue 1 matches this season (W17 D5), which determines the second longest undefeated series at the start of a season in the top flight in the 21st century, behind PSG itself in 2015-16 ( 27 (27).
Lyon, on the other hand, is 20 points back in sixth place, although they are unbeaten in their last seven home games in Ligue 1 (W5 D2), where Paulo Fonseca has made a strong start since taking over in January.
“Of course it will be difficult,” said Luis Enrique.
“They recently changed their coach, so they are still working on their connections, but an away game is always complicated; we know the strengths of this team that know how things can vary well.
“Lyon is one of the best teams in the competition, and they are also in Europe. We expect a tough game. We have to be at a very high level to play and win well.”

Luis Enrique also spoke about the development of Bradley Barcola, where the 22-year-old this season scored 16 times in all competitions for the club.
“Bradley was very good for us in the second half of last season and he has a promising future,” he added from the winger, who signed PSG from Lyon in 2023.
“But we must not forget that he is very young. My goal is that he will continue, just like all other players in our team.”
