Earlier on Tuesday it was reported that Milan Dream to sign Modric this summer, and those dreams could now become a reality. As reported by Sky Sport Italia, a verbal agreement has been reached between the two parties, and the hope is that a deal will be completed in the next 24-48 hours.
Modric has been linked to a number of clubs since it was confirmed that he would leave Real Madrid this summer, with Rayo Vallecano underneath. But it is now becoming increasingly clear that Milan is where he will continue his gaming career.
There is no doubt that a movement would be very favorable for all parties. This season Modric has shown that despite his age he can still compete at the highest level, and Milan would get a serial winner who can drive them to improve next season.
It is still to be seen whether it will come across the line, but at the moment it looks increasingly likely that Modric Madrid will trade for Milan after the World Cup of Club ends in July.
