Luka Modric tells Real Madrid contract extension plan

Real Madrid star Luka Modric wants to extend his contract in the club until next season and beyond his 40th birthday.

Modric hit a spectacular goal home in Real Madrid's 2-0 weekend La Liga victory on Girona while he continues to turn back the years in the Spanish capital.

The International of Croatia has already broken New Ground as the oldest performances of the club in 2024 and he wants more records in 2025.

Despite his reduced playing time in recent months, Modric is crucial as the club captain of Ancelotti, and the 39-year-old manages the respect of every member of the Star Studded Squad.
