Darts Star and Manchester United Super-Fan Luke Littler have not given the hope that the Red Devils can turn their season around and win a trophy.
United has passed a miserable campaign with Erik ten Hag who lost its job in October after a series of disappointing results, and Ruben Amorim was unable to reverse the club's fortunes.
They are currently 13th in the Premier League table, but are still involved in the Europa League and FA Cup.
Littler – Fresh at the back of winning his first world title last month – believes that United can still push to a European place this season, and depicts the opportunities of the team to go all the way to the Europa League.
The 18-year-old told Betmgm prior to the start of his Premier League Darts Title defense in Belfast on Thursday evening: 'I think if we get Europe, it is a good thing, but if we don't, it's also a good thing.
'You have seen that Chelsea is doing really well without European football, so if United will not get it this season, they will be really fresh because they don't have to play so many midweek matches.
'I have high expectations of us in the Europa League this season. I think we can win. '
Amorim has a number of problems to solve after they have already lost five home competitions since he arrives in November.
One of the most important concerns is the lack of goals of United, with only four top flight clubs that find less net this season.
The Portuguese boss left Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee from his starting XI for Sunday's 2-0 defeat by Crystal Palace as he chose to play without a recognized striker.
That experiment did not work and Littler would like to see Amorim would put his confidence in Hojlund more, while he also called on the teammates of the Danish attacker to give him a better service in the last third part.
Littler added: 'I just think that Hojlund needs support. They have many creative options around him, but I think he needs a little help on the top of the field.
“Amorim has moved a few things and I can see signs of progress.”
