Manchester United Superfan Luke Littler has mentioned the only player he thinks it can be transforming in front of Ruben Amorim.
2025 has been a monumental year for the prodigy of the teenager darts, starting with his victory in the world championship in Alexandra Palace.
Earlier this month, Littler added to his already impressive list -subdivisions by capturing the World Matchplay title -in the trial to be the youngest Triple Crown winner ever.
Although success has almost become a routine for the 18-year-old sensation, the same could not be said for his beloved football club.
Despite the appointment of Amorim, United dropped to their worst Premier League finish and were defeated by Tottenham in the Europa League final.
With a new campaign that is approaching quickly, United has been proactive in the transfer market with their acquisitions by Matheus Cunha van Wolves and Brentford's Mbeumo.
According to Littler United, however, should not look beyond a former Aston Villa star if they are planning to return to their best next season.
“I think the most important two players we have, Mbeumo and Cunha – we wanted them and we have them,” Littler told Sky Sports.
'But for myself I think Douglas Luiz from Juventus, it would be a no-brainer. Whether you want him, whether you want him to attack, he can do it all. '
Littler also claimed that United would be served well in watching Villa Park for other potential new signing sessions.
He continued: 'There are rumors that Garnacho could go to Villa, so why wouldn't you pick up Watkins from it?
“Emiliano Martinez is no longer a contract, it would be a no-brainer.”
Despite his love for United, Littler's football recording were not very well received among supporters on social media.
One wrote: “Stay on darts would be my advice.”
Another agreed: 'Stay with Darts Littler Lad'
A third fan joked: “Well done, he is a darts player,” while a fourth added: “Dudes never looked at Luiz.”
Luiz, a Brazilian international, originally arrived in the Premier League with the bitter rivals of United, Manchester City after he came to the club in 2017.
The 27-year-old, however, would appear a single appearance for the blue side of Manchester, instead two seasons on loan in City's Sister Club Girona after difficulties in obtaining a work permit.
In 2019, Luiz joined Aston Villa and started making more than 200 performances in all competitions for the club, with 22 goals.
Luiz came to Juventus last summer, but only went to make three starts for the club in his first campaign in the Serie A when injuries limit his involvement.
