Liverpool -midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has revealed that he will be a father for the first time.
The midfielder of Reds went to Instagram to announce his great baby news next to his girlfriend Ailen Cova on Thursday.
The couple shared a video of himself who told friends about their news, as well as COVA who underwent a babys scan.
Mac Allister could not control his excitement as he wrote on Instagram: “I love them with all my heart,” while Cova added “We wish and love you with all our hearts. See you, little one '.
The news comes after Mac Allister was accused of dumping his model ex-girlfriend to start a relationship with COVA shortly after winning the World Cup with Argentina in December 2022.
Mac Allister made it up with Camila Mayan – who was also a good friend of COVA – just a few days after the triumph of his country in Qatar.
Mayan sued Mac Allister after their five -year relationship ended when she made a compensation claim for 'living abroad with him'.
Mac Allister addressed the court case in November and insisted that it was a matter of patient waiting to discover the judgment of the court.
Mac Allister spoke from his car when he left a restaurant and said: 'There was no relationship anymore.

Mayan, who has more than 740,000 followers on Instagram and 900,000 on TIKTOK, wants a compensation for the years that they lived abroad and also accuses the football player of being unfaithful to the current partner COVA, and retain its possessions.
Mac Allister added: 'I think it's normal in a relationship; She made the decision to come out and make public things she felt or that she believes it happened, but I know how it went and that's why I am very calm. '
But the lawyer of Mayan Ignacio Trimarco rubbed the statements of the football player that his client was trying to publish aspects of their divorce and even suggested that it came from the end of Mac Allister.
He said: “The mediation is closed, but there was no agreement. The lawsuit has been filing for some time and the case started more than a year and a half ago.
“Nothing was said from our side; It became known on the other hand because Camila does not want to publish this situation. What she asks is confidential like any family business, but it is financial compensation.
'In this case [the amount requested by Mayan] will be determined by a judge based on the presented evidence.
'There is controversy with this law, but it is a law that has been adopted by the congress and applies to all couples, whether with an idol such as a world champion, or a businessman with things outside the country.
'This law has to do with protecting the weakest part of a few that has not formalized marriage.
'It is a law that applies and applies and applies to everyone who has lived together for more than two years in a public, notorious and peaceful way. Moreover, the claim must be started within 6 months after the end of the relationship. '
In the meantime, Mac Allister and COVA seem to have gone into force in their relationship and they will now become parents.
Cova joined Mac Allister on the field in Anfield after the last match of Jurgen Klopp at the end of last season.
She also celebrated with Mac Allister after Argentina won the Copa America last year.
The couple shared a kiss while they both held the trophy and then posed together for more photos on the plane house.
Mac Allister is currently gone again on international service, with Argentina who plays Uruguay in a world cup qualification tonight. They will then be confronted with arch rivals Brazil next Tuesday.
