Mackenzie Dern makes a bold prediction for Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes… ‘She knocks her out’

Kayla Harrison's first UFC Bantamweight Definption is expected to meet the female goat consensus.

At the beginning of June, Harrison set up a long-awaited matchup with its title-winning performance on UFC 316. In the Co-Main event of the Pay-per-View in the Prudential Center of Newark, Harrison Julianna Pena has submitted with a Kimura to become the new Bantamweight.

And it was not long before the champion had prepared her first defense, while Harrison was confronted with Amanda Nunes in the Octagon.

The couple is familiar with each other and trained together with the American top team before the departure of the Brazilian. That seemed to have created some tension between the two, and Dern expects the challenger to have the last smile.

Mackenzie Dern supports Amanda Nunes to eliminate Kayla Harrison

Just like both Harrison and Nunes, Dern was present in Las Vegas to participate in the International Fight Week and to take a look at Ilia Topuria's Knock -Out against Charles Oliveira on UFC 317.

During her appearance at UFC X in advance, the Grappling Specialist prevailed the comeback from Nunes in an interview with MMA Crazy.

Despite some time, Dern expects Nunes to make a statement of her superiority by sending Harrison in the distance.

“In my opinion there is no one like Amanda. If there is anyone to come back from retirement and to do a show, it is,” said Dern. “I am super excited that she is coming back.

“I think she has everything to have an extra long career in her comeback, when she decides.

“I think she eliminates her (Harrison). Amanda is just – her punches are so good,” Dern added. “Kayla, her branchedowns and everything are super good, her control, you know? You can see how technical she is.

“(But) Amanda just has so much experience with landing those photos and all the pressure. I don't think Kayla has that experience with such hard punchers.”

Kayla Harrison responded to similar prediction of Demetrious Johnson

Dern is not the first to predict a quick end for Harrison's reign.

UFC Geit candidate Demetrious Johnson also suggested so much when he called a defense against Nunes a “very bad idea” for the newly crowned Bantam weight queen.

Harrison responded respectfully on Johnson's Take on social media.

“Big fan of Mighty. Larger believer in myself.”

The dual Olympic gold medal winner will now want to prove that her doubters are wrong by pampering the return of Nunes in their long-awaited collision of former teammates.
