Magomed Ankalaev names date for Alex Pereira rematch with one key request after UFC 313

Only a matter of weeks after winning the UFC Light Heavyweight title against Alex Pereira, Magomed Ankalaev was able to already have his first title defense set.

At UFC 313 at the beginning of March, Magomed Ankalaev successfully dethroned Alex Pereira to become the new light heavyweight title, so that one of the most exciting regime in the history of the promotion was ended.

Not long after the event, Ankalaev revealed that he was already negotiating with the promotion for an immediate rematch against Alex Pereira.

In anticipation of their huge rematch, Pereira admitted that he must make 'some adjustments' after one of his worst versions to date in the UFC.

Earlier this week, Magomed Ankalaev claimed that he already has the date for his Rematch, who resulted in a response from Pereira.

Now, however, the Russian champion has gone one step further by revealing the month that he will probably rematch “poatan” and adds an important request.

“August, but please #novaseline,” Ankalaev said in a message on X.

After their first meeting at UFC 313, the coach of Ankalaev Pereira accused the use of fat to prevent him from being brought down during the fight, because the Russian did not land any branchedown from 12 attempts.

Nevertheless, the 32-year-old dominated the fight on the feet, with Pereira alarming only 11 head bodies in the entire fight.

Since winning the title of 205LB, Ankalaev has been extremely active on social media and shouted various hunters.

One is the current UFC Heavyweight Champion, Jon Jones. Of course 'Bones' once ruled over the light heavyweight division before he went to heavyweight.

The champion slows down a title Unification Fight against Interim champion, Tom Aspinall, who irritated Ankalaev for a bizarre reason.

And with that the Russian Jones invited back to 205 pounds to fight against him.

“Jonny Chicken Bones does not want to fight against Big Tom, come back to a light heavyweight division and fight Big Ank, stop running,” said Ankalaev Bizar in a now deleted post on X.
