Magomed Ankalaev is not too happy with Joe Rogan's revelation with regard to Alex Pereira's health status in their UFC 313 collision.
At the beginning of March on UFC 313, Magomed Ankalaev brought the exciting light heavyweight title of Alex Pereira to an end when the Russian Outpointed Pereira to become the new UFC champion.
Pereira's performance was immediately questioned and labeled by UFC commentator Joe Rogan 'Uncharcteristic', and that point was supported by fellow commentator Jon Anik, who questioned the status of Pereira.
However, Pereira will probably get the chance to exchange itself immediately, because Ankalaev has already revealed the intended date for their Rematch.

Magomed Ankalaev responds to Joe Rogan's claim with regard to Alex Pereira
A few weeks away from their fight, Rogan claimed that Pereira was fighting with a broken hand and norovirus, while the disease hit two other hunters of the event.
Although that would explain Pereira's alarming performance, Ankalaev is not so happy with the Rogan claim and he has offered an update about their targeted Rematch.
“Joe Rogan said (the team of Pereira) said that Alex moisture with a broken hand and norovirus, when fighters step into the cage, nobody is 100%,” Ankalaev claimed in a post on X.
“I was offered a rematch in August and I said yes, but if he is not ready, I will fight against who the next one is; it doesn't matter,” Ankalaev continued.

Whether the claim of Rogan with regard to Pereira is fighting with a broken hand is true, he would probably still be able to fight in August like in 2024, he was the most active champion and fights on UFC 300 with a broken toe.
If not Alex Pereira, who then for Magomed Ankalaev?
Despite that, as 'Patan' decides to take some time away from the Octagon, a competition is still waiting in the wings.
Last Saturday in UFC London, Carlos Ulberg accelerated a decision victory at former champion Jan Blachoowicz and announced himself as a competitor in the division on an impressive eight-Vecht profit treak.
After the fight, Ankalaev responded to Ulberg's performance and gave him the honor, but confirmed that Pereira earns the title shot more.
With the Russian champion who explains that he will fight against who the next one is, he could fight against the Australian if Pereira opts.
