Magomed Ankalaev silenced veteran with brutal finish after ‘one of the most controversial stoppages’ in UFC history

Long before his title government started, Magomed Ankalaev was involved in one of the most bizarre and controversial fights in the history of UFC.

Magomed Ankalaev has been set to return to action and will head his second consecutive pay-per-view card while standing UFC 320 against the Brazilian star Alex Pereira.

And his way to a title fight against Pereira earlier this year, Ankalaev would hand in a stunning 13-fabric undefeated series to land his first load for championship gold.

But during that notorious unbeaten piece, Ankalaev was forced into a rematch against an experienced competition after a fully controversial victory.

Ankalaev came to the Octagon within the back of an eight-fog winning spree to start his career and recovered from a shock loss to Paul Craig in a buzzer loss at UFC London.

And on a first three-fighter winning run, the Russian would book a collision with brutal competition Ion Cutelaba during a rare UFC Fight Night Norfolk event.

Within the opening minute of the collision, however, Ankalaev has emerged with a knockout victory – in the most bizarre conditions.

Ankalaev seemed to wiggle the Romanian star on the feet with a series of high-kicks and pour the pressure while Cutelaba seemed to use a rope-a-dope technique.

However, from the action by referee, Kevin MacDonald, was pulled out of the action, Cutelaba, however, immediately disputed the interruption, in what is considered on a large scale as one of the most controversial stop settlements in the octagonal history.

But later that same year, Ankalaev Cutelaba Rematchen and their rivalry would bring to bed firmly.

For the time being, from his momentum, behind the back of his controversial victory over Cutelaba, Ankalaev would rematch the Romanian at the end of 2020.

And earning the performance of the Night – this time, the Russian star would bring their rivalry to bed firmly – again in the opening round.

Ankalaev would flee with a huge right hand and would unload a Quickfire -Linker hook on the Chin of Cutelaba and send him to the Canvas for the first time in their series.

And hammering down with vicious soil attacks, this time Ankalaev finished firmly and struck him unconscious with a brutal barrage from the top.
